A Business Improvement District (BID) scheme is a business-led initiative supported by government legislation which gives local businesses the power to ‘raise funds locally to be spent locally’ on improving their trading environment.
Volunteer, Make a Difference, Support your local Town
Weymouth BID is setting up a Volunteer Scheme of Weymouth Weyfarers that will provide a presence within the town to help enhance the experience of visitors throughout the year.
We are looking for people that have a good knowledge of the area are confident in dealing with people and recognise the benefits of great customer service.
Full Training provided, supported by Inspire 2012, a recognisable Weyfarer Uniform and based in Weymouth Town.

Weymouth BID has received some comments in the media recently over the direction we are taking and the delivery of our projects. This statement will hopefully provide some detail on the reason the BID exists, the BID’s remit, information on the progress the BID has made in the first year and plans for 2015.
