A Business Improvement District (BID) scheme is a business-led initiative supported by government legislation which gives local businesses the power to ‘raise funds locally to be spent locally’ on improving their trading environment.
Volunteer, Make a Difference, Support your local Town
Weymouth BID is setting up a Volunteer Scheme of Weymouth Weyfarers that will provide a presence within the town to help enhance the experience of visitors throughout the year.
We are looking for people that have a good knowledge of the area are confident in dealing with people and recognise the benefits of great customer service.
Full Training provided, supported by Inspire 2012, a recognisable Weyfarer Uniform and based in Weymouth Town.

Hundreds of people have already had their say on the vision for Weymouth town centre. Weymouth & Portland Borough Council is leading a strategy to deliver a brighter future for the town with community involvement at the heart of the plan. Running for 6 weeks, FEAST is a celebration of local independent restaurants whereby participating restaurants provide a set-menu or offer within the price ranges of £5, £10, £15, £20 or £25 for customers to dine at their establishment throughout the promotional period.
